2007 Season!
Homestead Lacrosse 2007
- Skills camp - November 2nd, 7:30-9:30pm at the ASH Centre, formally named Tahcumwah. For beginners and incoming freshman. Located at 1701 Freeman St.
- Mandatory Parent-Player meeting – December 3rd, 7-9pm at The Chapel.
- Indoor Practices begin December 7th, 7:30-9:30pm at ASH. Will be held once a week leading up to the season. Schedule TBA.
- Outdoor Practices begin in mid-February. Schedule TBA.
- Games begin in March. Usually held on Saturday, occasionally during the week. Schedule TBA.
EQUIPMENT
Potential places to purchase equipment online are www.lacrosse.com, www.lax.com or www.lacrosseamerica.com. Dick’s sporting goods locally has SOME equipment.
- Head and shaft (eventually a second stick)
- Gloves – royal blue, white or black
- Helmet – white preferably with royal blue visor and chin bar
- Shoulder pads
- Arm pads – royal blue, white or black
- Cleats
- Mouth guard
- It is mandatory that all players wear an athletic supporter and cup
US Lacrosse Membership
You are required to obtain a US Lacrosse Membership to be able to practice and play on a lacrosse team. The membership costs $35 and can be obtained online. It is required by the first indoor practice on December 7th.
- Go to www.lacrosse.org
- Click on Membership in the left hand column
- Click on “Apply or Renew Online”
- Fill out information
- They will send you an email confirmation. PRINT THIS AND BRING TO COACH LUDERA at the first indoor practice.
If you already have a membership, you must renew it so that it is good through June 1st.
